Education Liaison

Dr. Susan Lubinski is the Department Chair of the Department of Homeland/Corporate Security and Leadership at Slippery Rock University.  Dr. Lubinski was instrumental in writing the programs and curriculum for the Bachelor of Sciencein Homeland Security, and the Bachelor of Science in Corporate Security. Within seven years of building the program, the Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security is ranked sixth in the nation in the "Top Bachelor's Degree Programs in Homeland Security" by Study.com and it ranked in Source 2021 Best Colleges Niche as one of the Best Colleges with a Homeland Security degree.  Dr. Lubinski obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administrationfrom Youngstown State University with a major in accounting and minors ineconomics and management. She attended Grove City College where she obtained her Master in Accounting and she received her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a lawyer licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She worked for a number of years in the City ofPittsburgh as a Certified Public Accountant, lawyer, and business consultantfor start-up companies. She started Hunter Associates for the former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. and Chairman Emeritus of Parker/Hunter, David Hunter. She served as Vice President of his company directing compliance and all business operations.
